Dawn River

Dawn River brings her expertise as a Social Scientist into the business world where she works as a Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing.

By combining insights from social science research and academia with her business expertise and professional practice, Dawn has been instrumental in moving the agenda on diversity and inclusion forward. Recognising the importance of underpinning this agenda with a dedication to wellbeing and professional development has been crucial, especially during this time of global pandemic. With lived experience of the issues she leads on, she has acted as a role model and been a dynamic force for progressive change.

Dawn’s commitment to promoting the value of diversity and inclusion – for individuals, communities and business as a whole – led her to be one of the Founding Members of the GGLBC. She also contributes to the work of the EGLCC (European LGBTIQ+ Chamber of Commerce) through her role on the Advisory Board.
